Did you dress up today?  See any good costumes?

I'm still figuring mine out -- as usual, everyone else comes first. I just finished sewing a Pocahontas dress for D'arby [yes, the Disney one, I know, I know] and converted some ugly polyester pants and a tiny women's early-90s jacket into some mariachi magic for Chad -- I think I did a good job, though it helps him being so darn fine.

Best I've seen and not made are George's Witless Who?-ston [oh. my. god.]

and the mucha lucha chihuahuas we saw Sunday

When I was maybe 9 or 10, my maternal grandmother sent me an opal charm on a gold chain that arrived on or just before Halloween, though I seem to remember it being a gift in honor of some saint she somehow related to me even though I don't have a proper Christian name, and it fell off my neck while I was roaming the neighborhood gathering candy. I looked all over for it for weeks, and, close to 30 years later, I still experiences moments of regret over losing it.
